The site makes no differentiation between the type of sale and features residential property across the length and breadth of Australia.

If we appear to have a bias or favouring of private sale property, that’s really not something deliberate at all,, as we welcome real estate agents who are forward thinking enough, to list on the highly trafficked PropertyNow group of sites including Private Sell dot com.

The bias, if there is one, is simply a result of there already being many great real estate websites which are are catering primarily (and in some cases solely) to real estate agents. There are far fewer sites that list individual property sellers. Of those sites, very few have a significant enough presence in Google to make a difference to the average person wishing to sell a house through their own efforts.

Real estate agents can benefit from marketing their listings alongside private sales and need never fear their market being eroded because of this. the simple facts are that some people will always want to produce a DIY sale while others will always use a real estate agent.

Any real estate internet marketing system that favours either mode to the exclusion of others is ultimately an incomplete and inefficient system and the buying and selling public will quickly wake to that fact.
